Leitner-Poma of America Inc. can design a system for you. These systems are generally used for pedestrian traffic along flat or inclined slopes with capacities from 100 - 500 pph. They have open or totally enclosed vehicles with grips that are fixed to the haul rope and travel at speeds up to 1,000 feet per minute. Pulsed gondolas have trains of 1 - 4 vehicles, and 1 - 6 trains that are evenly spaced along the rope. The entire system slows for loading and unloading when the vehicles are in the terminals. The vehicles have options for heat and communication. Pulsed gondolas are generally used for distances less than 3,000 ft.
