Pomagalski, S.A. , headquarters

In 1936 Jean Pomagalski founded Pomagalski, S.A., in Fontaine, France, and that same year we installed our first ski lift on the Eclose Trail in l'Alpe d'Huez [Isère, France]. Poma designs and manufactures ski lifts, chair lifts, cable cars of all kinds, cableways, inclined elevators, pedestrial shuttles, funiculars and urban shuttles for public transport systems.

Corporate headquarters and our production shops are still in Fontaine, but since 1988 most of our management, design engineering, sales and service offices are in Voreppe, France [pictured below]. Poma currently employs about six hundred people worldwide.
